1st GEN TAPES ARE OUT!! These are the first wave of large production cassette tapes, which will be the first time most of my music has been available on tape EVER! Including the first repressing of Dreaming of a Blizzard, which I think will please some ppl. At the same time, the 1st GEN wave includes a CDr release of all these projects too! Another first! I want to make my music more accesible, and I feel confident I can deliver these guys at a much more affordable price than I had thought I would have to for a while. Previously you could buy a Sonolum tape for 50 bucks, but now it is only 20! Basically everything is 10 bucks, but the longer albums require multiple tapes and CDrs so you pay the same rate just for a larger amount of music. My margins are very narrow, considering how much of my time I have to spend doing every single part of their production, so I would love to be able to charge more but nobody gaf so I am going with a more round number of 10 for everything hoping my music gets out into the world more. Each day I have to ride the bus is $2.20 in fare alone, so please understand I am trying to keep my prices low for everybody despite that. The tapes and CDrs all come with handmade artwork, which adds up to a lot of art when you're buying a triple cassette album! Leftover space is filled with bonus material, cut tracks exclusive to these physical versions, and other fun stuff. I think I'll read parts of the diary for the self-titled album at the end of the 6th side of it, maybe other stuff like that on the other releases too. I imagine DOAB will have some interesting commentary on it or something lol. I really want these to be fun things to own, and to stand on their own even if you already have heard the album, and still be interesting in their own right even when I make more represses years down the line.
